Vianova TransIT AS was set up in 2002 with the purpose of establishing a company within the Vianova-network specialising in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). Vianova was established as an independent consultancy group in 1988 within the field of transport infrastructure design and software development. Through a network of companies and co-operating partners the ViaNova group represents more than 300 professional engineers. Vianova TransIT's main areas are User payment (Electronic Fee Collection and Electronic Fare Collection), Traffic Management & Control and Travel Information. Our services within ITS include studies, requirement specifications, procurement, project management, organisation and operational management. In addition to Vianova TransIT’s team, there is also extensive ITS knowledge within other companies in the Vianova network. Altogether this makes us one of the most comprehensive ITS partners in the Nordic countries.
